At first I liked the game until I had to keep turning my graphics down for my Laptop to play it.
Then my Laptop crashed so it started to get on my nerves so I stopped playing it.
I might have had a better Experience with the game on a better computer.

As a network installed game everything went well.
From my point of view the game play looked great. I however did not play the game.
I installed this game on a verity of computers including

  • 1HP Laptop
  • 1Compaq Laptop
  • 1Custom Dual 8600GTS SLI AMD2 4GRam Rig.
  • 1MackBook Pro.

Over all 4 Computers took me around 45 minutes to install. Not to shabby

Installation
The game installation was as simple as it could get. Just like any other game, run the CD, step by step installation and you're good to go. The installation time was below 5 minutes.

Performance
Playable on slightly old systems. We're not talking about 7 year old rigs, but 4 year olds can hit the game up and play it smoothly enough. One thing that turned into a letdown was the lack of performance editing that most other games provide you. Only option is to alter the Resolution, and just a couple more options. I guess keeping it simple was a good idea nonetheless.

Gameplay
As simple as it can get. Using a point-and-click input, using the keyboard for menu navigation. The objective is herding these little mammals and weird sausage-y things into the motherflocker (Yes, quite an awkward name to give it. I'm guessing the audience the game is meant to won't associate it to *the* "mf" word...) Herd just enough till the quota and you can move on, get more (or all) and you get a bonus, hightening your score. Do it fast enough, and you get an extra score boost and a shiny gold star (surprise!).

Simplistic, and not totally addictive, but fun to play nonetheless. It's a game clearly intended for a young audience, and definitely worth its price for your children to spend some fun (bullet/blood-less) time on the console.

Overall
The game itself I must say I pleasantly enjoyed , even though it goes nowhere close to the game genre I enjoy playing (story filled (/) fps), but a good game is a good game. I hand 7 out of 10 to it for the fact that what any game is meant to do (relaxation and entertainment), Flock successfully accomplishes it. Don't expect your eyes to blow out, and your hands to go up while you scream "WOAH! AWESOME!" but a game is a game, and this is a game!

The game was very simple to install under 5 mins and your done.

PERFORMANCE

This game will work on lower end machines. But nothing to old just don't expect it to blow your mind.

GAMEPLAY

The game is fun at first. But to me it did get quite repetitive after about 8 levels. Though to a child this would be the perfect match.

OVERALL

Overall a ok game not for the hardcore gamer it's lacking without violence and stories for the adults. But for kids this game is perfect no violence, blood or gore, and most of all no sexual themes.

I give the game a 5 out of 10 for the kids.

5 out of 10 for the kids? I'd give that score, bit lower if it was meant for the adults. For a kid's game, which is what it was intended towards, it easily gets a 7 out of 10. Definitely not a half baked game which deserves a half score.

Indeed a very fun game although after 15+ Levels got pretty repetitive.
Younger Age groups would definitely keep on playing it for hours for sure, while for the Older Age groups they should definitely check out the map editor in the game.

For Kids Rating 8/10
For Older Age Groups 6/10

For the Motherflocker :p

Ran smoothly on a 4-5 year old pc.
